Maple Tree

Maple Tree

2nd Day in Sydney, it is still very cold. We need to wear our jacket or coat just to take a stroll outside the house. While strolling outside the house, we spotted a maple tree just across the road. You don’t get to see Maple Tree in Singapore, especially one that is changing colour.

After a short stroll around the neighborhood, our Auntie Carolyn and Auntie Jasmine, took us to Darling Harbour (City) to attend some investment seminars that is held in Sydney Convention Centre. Too bad that is cancel due to Mother’s Day…

So we didn’t manage to go to the seminars so we walk around the Darling Harbour and get oriented with the places and road. Then we visited some of the agencies to check out the tour for Canberra and Blue Mountain. 1 thing that is different from Singapore is that there aren’t any crows here, but it is full of sea gulls. The sea gulls are not shy and they will not hesitate to snatch your food, even though you are not planning to feed them.

After our lunch, we went to The Rock to visit the weekend market. It is full of local gift and food, quite a good place to get some unique gift.

Royal Bontanic Garden
Royal Botanic Garden

The last stop before we call it a day is Royal Botanic Garden. It is very big, about the size of NUS campus! The park welcomes visitor to step on the grass so as a Singaporean we are well known for following the Law. soo…
